Common problems and fixes

While you wait, one of these may help.

I can’t log in, or the app says my account already existsMatches your request

Some people are getting stuck at sign-in, including being sent back to account setup or told an account already exists. Fixing this is one of our top priorities.

To look into your account, our team needs your state, the device you’re using, and a screenshot of the error. If your request included those, you don’t need to do anything else.

Fingerprint or face login stopped workingMatches your request

Try signing in with your username and password instead. If that works but fingerprint or face login still doesn’t, tell us the device you’re using and your app version if you know it, so our team can investigate.

The app says my state isn’t supported yetMatches your request

ebtEDGE is expanding state by state, and yours may not be live yet. Once it’s available in your area, you’ll sign in with the account you already created.

You can see which states are available now and which are coming soon at the bottom of this page.

My card shows as frozen or removed, or I forgot my PINMatches your request

Your EBT PIN is managed by your state. To reset it, call the customer service number on the back of your EBT card.

If the app shows your card as frozen or removed and you didn’t do that, contact us with your state and the last 4 digits of your card. Never send your full card number or PIN.

When will my benefits arrive? Where is my deposit history?Matches your request

Your state agency sets your deposit schedule. For questions about when benefits will arrive or a missing deposit, call the number on the back of your EBT card.

Many of you have asked for deposit history in the app. We’ve shared that feedback with our product team.

A transaction looks wrong, or I don’t recognize a purchaseMatches your request

If you don’t recognize a purchase, call the number on the back of your EBT card right away. Your state handles card security and transaction disputes, and can protect your benefits.

The app is slow, crashes, or won’t openMatches your request

Make sure you have the latest version of ebtEDGE from the App Store or Google Play, then close the app and open it again. If the problem continues, our team will follow up on your request.

Why does the app show ads and offers?Matches your request

We hand-pick our advertising partners to help ebtEDGE users stretch their benefit dollars further. To learn how your information is used, read our Privacy Policy.
